What is KCCA and the curriculum

KCCA - Korea Candle Craft Association

A complete set of Korean candle certificate courses. From teaching basic wax step by step to pillar candles are all included. You can get started without any foundation. It is very suitable for developing a home fragrance business and setting up candle teaching. Or friends who like handmade scented candles.

According to the regulations of the association, there will be 27 main designated works and 1 student-created work. Our studio will exclusively give away 10 other design candles. (Five of them have been integrated into the KCCA curriculum.)

It contains wax materials such as:

1.Soywax

2.Paraffin wax

3.Palm wax

4.Beeswax

5.Gel wax

And other non-wax use skills such as:

1.Silicon

2.Plaster making

3. Tips on using fragrance oil

4.Diffuser technique...and others.

1. Tealight candle

Technique and formulas for smooth and no frosting surface and tips on colouring the wax

 

2. Container candle 

It seems simple, but you need to pay attention to a lot of small details and techniques to make a smooth surface.

 

3. Beeswax sheet candle

Candles made of natural beeswax sheets.

 

4. Pillar candle (add metallic deco)

Made of pillar candle and metal decorative wax.

 

5. Cinnamon candle 

The course chooses edible cinnamon to make cinnamon candles.

 

6.Gel Candle Holder

Use wax to make transparent candle holder.

 

7. Plaster Perfumer (add marble technique)

Making aroma stone and technique of marble grains.

 

8.Flower Perfumer

Dry flower arrangement technique and production technique.

 

9.Silicon Mold Making

13.Transfer technique container candle (add cocktail candle)

Course considerations

▪️Class hours

The class time takes 4-5 days / 10 days (30 hours), and the classroom can be arranged with the teacher on an appointment basis.

Each class is different according to the progress of the class, and the class is scheduled according to the daily schedule.

Try not to arrange other things on class days.

▪️After the course of the certificated class, each student needs to complete a portfolio. The teacher will sign up for form and send it to the Korean Candle Crafts Association for review. If the examination is approved, there will be a instructor certificate. Enjoying the instructor certificate can cultivate a skill to start a business or start a class.
